Hectic as, crazy as, up and down like a roller coaster but definitely a better year.
Have actually not had any time to update my shenanigans so a really quick summary so far of my 35 for 35 project.
January 2013
Wow, so far that's 6 new experiences in the span of 18 hours on my birthday.
The next day it's off to Europe, not a first but it's my First time in Switzerland!. Picked up and off to Chamonix- to do an expedition med course where it's definitely a First practising rescues in the cold. It's also yet another first learning how to ski!.
So far , so rock and roll with 9 out of 35 sorted.
Before, i forget- started off 2013 in Broome. A First that i am really proud about is learning how to track turtles and volunteering for Conservation Volunteers Australia is something that i've wanted to do for ages. That makes 10 out of 35.
Okay, still in Chamonix- i meet someone i consider the coolest being ever- Dr Tom Hart, penguinologist, gentleman and all round Super Nice guy. Dude has superior cold tolerance having just jetted in from fricking Antartica!. I am not worthy- Tom Hart = the legend
That was definitely THE highlight of my Chamonix Expedition Med Course. And...number 11 out of 35 for 35 new things at 35 years old.
Hmm, not bad for January eh?. Wait until February's update....
